WDW2016 – Casey Stoner backs to try the DesmosediciGP. The Australian champion was on track during the WDW2016, the great festival of the Ducati people. Stoner was back on a track of the old continent after the last race in Valencia in 2012.
Misano test times details are few. The only sure thing is that Stoner has tried the bike in two productive days after practice at Losail interrupted for rain. So, the 11 September will take place on the 13th race of the season and Stoner aims to give Ducati riders, Andrea Iannone and Andrea Dovizioso fundamental information to discuss the most of the San Marino GP.
“My last time on a track was in 2012 while here in Misano not lap the previous year.” commented Stoner. “It’s been a long time. So, it is really nice to drive on these tracks European-style. I get a feel for how the bike almost at 70% -80% of races of the season.” said Stoner.
“We have worked very well and completed most of our programs. The result is very positive. Also the test was done with Michelin. I found the right track with the tyres, with the chassis and electronics.” adds the Australian pilot. “I can’t wait to see the results of these tests in the next GP and understand by the same pilots how useful are these days at Misano.“
WDW2016: An Incredible Party
The Australian champion, twice world champion in the premier class, speaks about his participation in the WDW2016. “It will be a good experience. I don’t go to the World Ducati Week in a long time. It is hard to remember as it was then, but I really want to be among the fans and all of our bikes. The ninetieth anniversary Ducati is a special occasion, I can’t wait to be part of this party“.
