Top 10 motorcycles – Unfortunately EICMA is finished. Today is the last day of the show. However, we will remember many things about this edition. Or, perhaps, I should say, I will remember many beautiful bikes. Here are Top 10 motorcycles by 2016 EICMA. Write in the comments what is your favorite.
Motorlands Top 10 motorcycles
Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled e Monster 797
The design is that of standard Scrambler. Desmodue engine has 803 cc, with 75 HP and 68 NM. The Desert Sled is for the “light” Offroad. So, the frame is strengthened to withstand the stresses of off-road with two side plates which protect the engine and support the new swingarm. Especially, changing the wheels, spoke wheels with 19″ front and 17″ rear.
Honda Crf250 Rally
It is the definitive version of the small off-road Honda. So, the Crf250 Rally has the same look of the model that runs the Dakar. The engine is the small single cylinder of the Crf250L, powered by Pgm-Fi electronic fuel injection with 38 mm throttle body, combined with a 6 gears. The greatest power is 24.8 HP. Modest performance is combined with an excellent chassis. The weight is 157 kg. Very light.
Bmw R 1200 GS Rallye
One of the best-selling motorcycle in Europe does not stop its evolution. It adds a number of electronic options for managing the engine and the chassis. Such as the Dynamic Pro package, which includes a new traction control and Hill Start. In the most aggressive Rallye version, there are also suspensions suitable for aggressive riding in off-road.
Husqvarna Vitpilen e Svartpilen 401
The 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine has a naked 375 cc, with 44 HP and 37 NM. The frame is in tubular steel trellis with a 43 mm upside down fork and aluminium swingarm with single shock absorber. The original equipment tires are the Metzeler M5.
Kawasaki Z650
The ER-6n changes name and becomes more sporty, not only for design inspired by the H2R. The engine is the parallel twin, DOHC 4 valves per cylinder with 649 cc. But it is revised to get softer delivery and progressive. Completely revamped the chassis, with steel trellis frame, swingarm lighter and link that connects it to the shock absorber.
Aprilia Shiver 900
New engine updates the great naked. The Aprilia Shiver 900 increases its performance and adaptability. The new V-twin engine with 95 HP and 90 NM replaces the “old” 750. Also, there is an efficient traction control and a latest generation ride-by-wire control. So, higher performance joins the excellent chassis.
KTM 1290 Super Adventure R
1,301 cc, 160 HP, 140 NM of torque and 238 kg. This is the King of the maxienduro. It’s the R version, the most adventurous and most of the crossovers. The redesign, featuring LED headlight, is only the visible part of a profound renewal, which sees the adoption of advanced electronics. The Super Adventure R along the S version, more roads, and the T that is best suited for tourism and corresponding to the current model.
Moto Morini Corsaro 1200 ZZ
The Corssacorta V-twin engine is adequate with the Euro 4 and so loses power slightly (from 140 to 130 HP), but there is enough to give great emotions. The standard equipment is on top and it is at 95% Italian. Instrumentation, with 5″, is of TFT type. And you can configure it. For more customization, like the other Moto Morini, the Corsair ZZ can be changed according to the wishes of the buyer already during production.
Suzuki GSX-R1000R
Another important Top 10 motorcycles that we saw at EICMA is the news Suzuki GSX-R1000R. The sportiest of Hamamatsu is in its last version. The engine is a four cylinder in-line, 998 cc, with over 200 HP, managed by a new electronics. They include launch control, two-way electronic gear, and traction control.
Yamaha YZF-R6
Yamaha renovates one of the most popular sports medium in recent years. On an aesthetic level follows closely the layout of her older sister R1. So, the new fairing improves the aerodynamic efficiency and gives an even more aggressive. We don’t know the engine performance, but it will be much higher than its predecessor. Remember. It has 124 horsepower. All new cycling instead.
