Silverstone FP2 – “We are working on different things. The frame and I love it. But especially the Michelin. For the first two runs we used the harsh, front and back. After some sight gets some good ride, then I struggled. In the last run I put the soft and I did a pretty good. But the latter is not easy to manage. There’s enough cold, it was hard. We have to get used to this climate.” said Rossi after Silverstone FP2.
Valentino Rossi explains THE Silverstone FP2 after his sixth place. “Tomorrow we’ll see the conditions. The other bikes are very strong. I am referring to Suzuki, and also to Iannone.” said Rossi. “In T4, I suffer a lot and also suffers from Lorenzo, although it is up ahead. We need to understand why and try to do better.”
Silverstone FP2: Iannone is the Fastest
“We have doubts on the swingarm, we don’t know which is better.” said Lorenzo, the fourth time in the Silverstone FP2. “We didn’t have a very good pace, others indeed have not gone very strongly. Over time the rear tire loses much. Hopefully tomorrow is dry in order to be ready for the race in dry and try to fight for victory.“
Andrea Iannone (Ducati) is the fastest on the Silverstone FP2. Second place for the young Spanish Maverick Vinales (Suzuki), fastest in the morning’s tests. Third Cal Crutchlow on the Honda. Behind all the big leaderboard. Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha) and the other Spaniard Marc Marquez (Honda). Sixth time for Valentino Rossi (Yamaha). 7th the Ducati of Andrea Dovizioso. The British GP is scheduled for Sunday, and it could be an important race for the 2016 MotoGP title.
Rossi and Lorenzo must try to fight for the title, but now Marc Marquez seems far away. The two Yamaha believe they can run well and to bring the leader.
