Nicky Hayden relaunches the ambitions of Valentino Rossi, still looking for the tenth title. But Marc Marquez has 59 points more to Rossi.
Nicky Hayden was a rival and teammate of the Doctor. In 2003, he ran with him to the Honda. In 2006, the American won him the world title at the last race. Then, in 2011 and 2012 he ran with him in Ducati. Now, Hayden is in SuperBike and he thinks that Rossi can recover in the standings. “He is fast. I hope that he wins the title.” said Nicky Hayden. “This year he had some bad race. Not normal for him. However, it shows how competitive is the MotoGp.” The 2016 MotoGP World Championship is absolutely not closed. “It would be stupid to say that Marquez has already won. When you go in the second half of the season, all become harder. Everything can change very quickly. Look what happened in the last two races. So, we love this sport.”

Next year Hayden will ride in WSBK with an ex-MotoGP rider. Stefan Bradler. The German pilot will join Hayden, who has a three-year agreement expiring end 2018, on the Honda. Bradl takes the place of Michael van der Mark that soon will be announced by Yamaha, always in Superbike. “I’m very happy to be a part of Honda Racing SBK Team in the 2017 season.” said Stefan Bradl. “I can’t wait to try the Fireblade and it will be great to work with Nicky Hayden. I think it’s a fantastic combination. Because we understand each other really well. We can look to the future and I am very motivated for this new adventure.“
