Motorcycle Trip – Mumbai is the commercial center of India. More than 12 million of people. The first city by population density in the World. This isn’t the most appropriate place where you ride a motorcycle. A journey from Mumbai to nearby places can turn a a fantastic weekend. The scenery certainly won’t disappoint. Here is a list of places to travel by road from Mumbai.

Motorcycle Trip: Lonavala
During the weekend, thousands of people populate this fantastic place. However, you have to go. The path will of great emotions and they don’t forget. It is true, there is a high risk of rain, but riders know it could also become cool and refreshing. Just wear a waterproof jacket. During the monsoons, the landscape is incredible. It’s greener. Perfect for a road trip toning from Mumbai.
The Mumbai-Pune Expressway does not allow transit motor bike, but the old Mumbai-Pune Highway is in good condition. Since all taxis and buses take the freeway, the biker has really open road. 1.45 hours for this trip.

Motorcycle Trip: Alibaug Beach
It’s a crowded beach. Alibaug is very close to Mumbai. The road is part of the Mumbai-Goa highway. A fairly crowded. The road is being renovated. It’s going to spread and split lanes. This should also increase journey times. 4-4.5 hours for this trip.
Motorcycle Trip: Murud-Zanjira
Kashid is a white sand beach. Also, it is very clean. Here you can practice adventure sports. A really relaxing beach for all bikers. The beach Murud is about 40 km further from Kashid and has a Fort built in the sea very interesting. The road from Mumbai to Alibag is pretty good. It should be renewed very soon.
From Alibag in Kashid (and then in Murud) is a thin, winding road, but almost all the way 1 hour you do along the coast. Very charming. Returning you can take the road via Roha. Drive along 40 km, but there is a small shrine on the way. Very impressive.

Motorcycle Trip: Elephant Peak, Mahabaleshwar
This is the longest drive, but you will not regret it. Mahabaleshwar is located about 300 km from Mumbai. Being in the hills the last 50 km is slower. However, the place has some amazing views. Take the old road to Pune, via Lonavala, Pune-Bangalore. This road is part of the Golden Quadrilateral project and therefore is perfectly maintained. Take the exit for Wai from the highway and follow the signs.
Motorcycle Trip: Malshej Ghat
With numerous waterfalls and dams, Malshej Ghat is one of the popular places for road trips from Mumbai and Pune. The best time to visit is that of the monsoons. When the whole course is green and picturesque. You will lose more time to get out of traffic. The road to Malshej Ghat from Mumbai is in a good condition. So, we do not face much problems.
