MotoGP’s Salaries – Valentino Rossi is no longer the richest MotoGP rider. Jorge Lorenzo exceeds his former teammate. The Spaniard is also ahead of compatriot Marc Marquez, second in the special ranking of MotoGP’s Salaries.
The MotoGP’s Scrooges
The Majorcan, now at Ducati, has the MotoGP’s Salarie higher with 12.5 million euros per season. Marc Marquez has 9 million, while Rossi must “settle” of 6.5 million. Renewal with Yamaha costs him nearly half of the salary. Ducati believes strongly in Jorge Lorenzo. The Spaniard will have to prove that he can win the MotoGP Title even with the Italian “red” bike. Ducati spent much for him and now the Italian brand wants to be satisfied. The Spanish rider will do a good job. But maybe it will take some time. We will see what will happen in 2017.
The others
Further away all the other riders. Dani Pedrosa was fourth with 2.5 million, followed by Andrea Dovizioso, Andrea Iannone and Maverick Vinales. This year’s fight for the 2017 MotoGP Title seems to be an issue only between Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez. However, Maverick Vinales could have a chance to win his first MotoGP World Championship.
Sepang Test
The young Spaniard drove very well in Sepang. Mav showed how he is already well-adapted to the new bike and as the shadow of Valentino Rossi did not worry. For the time. Jorge Lorenzo and Ducati have yet to find the right balance. But the Italian brand wants to immediately be a protagonist in MotoGP. Domenicali and Dall’Igna want to take back the title in Italy, after seven years of abstinence. The last was Casey Stoner in 2010.
