MotoGP Aragon – Marc Marquez is the quickest in FP3 MotoGP Aragon race. The champion of the Honda with 1:48:830 ahead of Valentino Rossi’s Yamaha and Suzuki compatriot Maverick Vinales. Fourth place for Ducati of Andrea Dovizioso (0 “348) in front of the other Yamaha’s. So, Jorge Lorenzo is far from the leader of the MotoGP World Championship. Sixth place for Andrea Iannone (0″771), on track despite the vertebra injury. Only 11th place for the Spaniard Dani Pedrosa.
The Honda’s Rider has 43 Points more than Rossi
Marc Márquez arrives at the MotoGP Aragon race with 43 points ahead of Valentino Rossi. However, in the last four races he has never gone on the first two steps of the podium. The pilot of Cervera is now an “accountant” or his Honda HRC won’t allow him to fight for the victory. “In the last few races for some situations we struggled and Sunday we weren’t the fastest. However, even then we lost a few points and we have 43 points.” added the Spaniard.
MotoGP Aragon, Marquez: “We will try to change that philosophy this weekend”
“Now we have to push because we’re out of one of my favorite tracks. But we know that the two Yamaha riders are very strong.” said Marquez at the press conference on Thursday. “You always want to push in the race and win. But you should also realize that sometimes it’s not possible. At Misano, such as, at first I was fast, but then I struggled a lot with the front tyre.” Marquez’s teammate helped him winning the Misano’s race. So, Valentino Rossi earned only seven points.
“We will try to change that philosophy this weekend.” says Marquez. “If we win the title without winning races here at the end that’s okay. It’s a wide open season, with eight different winners. We must fight.” he concluded. In the afternoon, the MotoGP Aragon race will continue with a new session.
