Michela Cerutti – Who is Valentino Rossi? What can we expect from the Doctor in the second half of the 2016 Moto GP World Championship? Michela Cerruti, colleague and fan of Valentino Rossi, tried to answer.
“Valentino Rossi was one of the most beloved standards, criticized, hated and admired by the public. It would simple to think of the Doctor as a simple pilot similar to many others. It’s an amazing character, full of facets and contradictions.” Michela Cerutti speaks about her colleague Valentino Rossi.
Michela Cerruti and the desire to ride with Passion
From April 2016 Michaela runs into Romeo Ferraris in TCR International Championship. Alfa Romeo comes back on track after years with her. Michela drives the new Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR. A jewel of mechanics made entirely by Romeo Ferraris and developed by Michela. “Valentino is discussed, does scream, but mostly excited like no other rider on the grid for the MotoGP. Either, he has something that goes beyond the drive, which goes beyond the win. Despite his victories and success make it potentially be unattainable. Because Valentino knows stay in the minds and hearts of his fans. He’s human, so almost disarming. He is still the greatest. Because he is so special. When he does a pole, which happens now rarely, he always does it at the right time and in the right place. As in Mugello.”
Michela Cerruti also speaks about the historic handshake with the “enemy” Marc Marquez. “It represents the want to ride with passion. Not to desire for revenge”. Cerruti likes to think that the two great champions dedicated the Barcelona’s handshake to the young Luis Salom. “Because many people think that Moto GP’s riders are machines. Without feelings. I think what happened in Barcelona GP says otherwise and we should give pause.” concludes Michela Cerruti.
