“We divided the work. First, we tried the engine and then the frame.” explained the “Doctor”. “Then, I fell down and so we can’t work again. The frame is a bit different. So, we must do a few more kilometers. However, it went well. We were able to try new things, we started with the standard bike and the time I did pretty good.” Rossi closed with the second best time of the day, turning in 1:30:950, only 20 thousandths to his teammate, which from next season will replace Jorge Lorenzo. He could Fight for the 2017 Title
Maverick Vinales made his debut on the Yamaha M1. Spanish, during MotoGP Test in Valencia, has tried the new Japanese bike with which he will debut in the 2017 MotoGP Championship. After two positive seasons in Suzuki, Mav will fight for the Title. Last Sunday, he closed the 2016 MotoGP season with fourth place behind the three phenomena, Marc Marquez, Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo. Next year, he will be too in this small circle of contenders for the final victory.
“It was the last race together with Suzuki. We fought for the best place and we did our best. I’m ready for my new adventure, but I have mixed feelings now that I leave the Suzuki. The team improved so much and I know that we did a great job.” declared Vinales after the last race in Valencia.
