“We thought about Chaz as a substitute of Andrea Iannone. But the World Superbike was in progress. So, if he had run in MotoGP, he couldn’t finish the season at the top condition.” said Paolo Ciabatti, Director of Ducati Corse. Ciabatti wants the Superbike World Championship
“In 2017, we want to win the Superbike World Championship. But we’re also curious to see Davies on the MotoGP. We just need to find a time of the season where we can decrease the risks of the test.” added Ciabatti. In 2007, Chaz Davies ran four races with Pramac MotoGP. He failed to finish in the points, but has since been a long time.
Max Biaggi, his new Moto3 team and Ducati GP17
