Cyclist – MotoGP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo will soon become a cyclist on the road. You heard right. The Spaniard will race with the Movistar Team that is participating in the 2016 Tour de France. Lorenzo will take advantage of the stage in Andorra. Tomorrow will be the first pause fort he 2016 Tour de France. He will take the Nairo Quintana’s bicycle or Alejandro Valverde’s bicycle.
Jorge Lorenzo will become cyclist for a day in an event sponsored by the official timekeeper of the Tour de France and the World Championship MotoGP Tissot. The Yamaha rider will make a one-hour training session about the streets of Andorra with the Movistar team. After the ninth stage of the Tour, Vielha-Andorre-Arcalis (184 km), the Organization of the Tour de France will grant the first rest day for a team who have already passed the tough stages in the Pyrenees. For now, Alejandro Valverde is the third place in the General stands after the dispute of the first six stages. 5:13 minutes behind the leader Greg Van Avermaet, while Nairo is seventh. Both are in full fight for the last triumph.

So, Jorge Lorenzo fight to defend the World Title won last year and Movistar Team fight for the last victory of the 2016 Tour. In his final year with Yamaha, the Spanish champion is 24 points behind the leader Marc Marquez. Finally, Lorenzo will cyclist for a day and will warm the legs for the next Grand Prix of Germany at Sachsenring. “Right now, I think Valentino is the stronger of the two.” said Marc Marquez. “He has proven to be faster under all conditions. Drives even when there is little grip on the runway, or when it rains. Maybe that’s why he made a few more mistakes than last year.”
The departure of Lorenzo’s trial is scheduled for 10.30 a.m. at the Anyos Park Hotel La Massana (Andorra). So, once completed, Jorge Lorenzo, the CEO of the Movistar Team, Eusebio Unzue, and President Tissot, François Thiebaud, will appear in front of the media.
