Yamaha Yard Built XSR700 Otokomae – Ad Hoc Café Racers realizes a new Yamaha Yard Built. Based on XSR700, it is a truly street tracker for any challenge. David Gonzalez is not new to customizing a Yamaha motorcycle. The Spaniard worked already with the XJ650 and XJ750. To create the new XSR700 Otokomae, especially David created a tracker road with style, hard and bright colors.
So, David started from the front to do the New Yamaha Yard Built XSR700 Otokomae. The customizer Spanish adds a series of original Yahamas’s spare parts, taken from other models. In particular, MT-09 stem and handlebar set, front forks, disc brakes, brake master cylinder and clutch from the YZF-R6. The front light and bracket from the MT-01. Also, we see Borrani wheels and Michelin tires. The fuel tank is original, cleverly hidden by a shell, custom-built in four modular parts. The radiator is black and blends into the engine block. The air filter housing was removed and replaced with power filters to open the central space.

New Yamaha Yard Built XSR700 Otokomae: a “street trackers style”
The discharge of XSR700 gives way to a full SC Project system. So, the sound is more aggressive. The height increases by 15 mm with a shock Gears Racing and a custom seat with high quality cowhide. “I really like this New Yard Built Otokomae XSR700.“said Cristian Barelli, Yamaha Motor Europe Marketing Coordinator. “Because the ‘street trackers’ style is well suited to the XSR700 standard. The paint is something unique. Ad Hoc Café Racers follows our golden rule of no cutting or welding to the chassis of the bike. So, the detail is very well crafted without compromising the handling of XSR700, keeping the fun factor. You can create a motorcycle without losing the essence of it. In conclusion, I think that Gonzales has done just that. A great job.”
