New Triumph Street Triple – Despite the large number of new models presented at Intermot and Eicma, Triumph brings another innovation. After the Bonneville Bobber, the Bonneville T100 and T100 Black, Street Scrambler and Street Cup, Triumph shows a new teaser video that announces the arrival of the new Street Triple’s version. The title of the video is “The Street Will Never Be The Same Again”. So, immediately we understand that the news will be many. Unfortunately, as in any video teaser, we see very little of the new model.
New Triumph Street Triple – Features
The New Triumph Street Triple will still have a classic front with twin headlights. While the “old” analog-digital mixed Instrumentation will be replaced by a new all-digital and color display. At the core of the new instruments, we find the speed indicator at the top the fuel level, external temperature and time, and the bottom gear position indicator and the “hyphenated tachometer”.
The Engine
According to the first spy photos, the look of the bike should not undergo major changes, but only a slight facelift. Instead, the swingarm is new. The engine is still top-secret, but the displacement will increase. Maybe up to 800 cc, or almost, 765 cc. We are sure. There will be some big changes. This new model as “a bike that comes to change all. A bike, ripping rules written so far and sets a new benchmark in terms of power, weight, handling and style.”
The Goals
Triumph has ambitious goals, but to find out all the details about the new Triumph Street Triple we will have to wait on 10 January. When the bike will be presented officially in England. We are very curious to see live the new model of the British brand. So, stay tuned. See you in 2017 with the new Triumph Street Triple.
