Kawasaki Z900 – Kawasaki offers free test rides on Z900s. It is sharper and more-powerful replacement for the Z800. There’s also prize draw to win the special Z300. The stunt rider Lee Bowers used it at last year’s Motorcycle Live show. All you have to do to be in that is registered to attend the dealer showroom launch night of Kawasaki’s 2017 range on February 24. So, that’s a free go on a Z900 and maybe a free Z300 to keep.
Now Kawasaki Z900 is more usable
Kawasaki believes that the models Supernaked must be something more than Supersport deprived of their full enclosure. The new Z900 has a four-cylinder engine in line with 948 cm3. The bike born from the experience gained on the Z1000. Now Kawasaki Z900 is more usable. The inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 16 valves, is rated at 125 HP. The diameter of the throttle valve (36 mm Ø) was chosen to emphasize the midrange engine responsiveness. Intake and exhaust valves, measuring 29 mm Ø and 24 mm in diameter.
The exhaust system is a 4 in 1
The Kawasaki Z900 is the second model (the first was the Z1000 of 2014) on which was performed a study around the sound. The shape of the airbox has been developed by acoustic testing performed in an anechoic environment. The exhaust system is a 4 in 1 and the first chamber in the muffler. So, the exhaust manifolds to 35 mm Ø contribute to improve performance at high RPM.
More colors
The LCD is “negative”. So, it has white letters on a black background. So, it looks modern and sporty. In addition to the digital speedometer and gear position indicator, there are several display functions. They include trips odometer, dual Tote, indicator of remaining autonomy, instantaneous and average consumption indicator and external temperature gauge.
