The British rider Daniel Hegarty died today on the Macao circuit during the motorbike Grand Prix racing on the city track in Guia. The 31-year-old Hegarty, in the Topgun Racing Honda race, came out on the road, losing the control of his bike and ending violence against the protective barriers and losing his case. Hegarty died during transportation to the hospital if he had and the rescue services arrived early. The race was suspended.

Joe Hegarty, the motorcyclist’s brother, thanked people on Twitter for their “nice comments” following news of his death. “Awful news. Rest In Peace Daniel Hegarty. Thoughts and prayers with your family and friends in this tough time…” Formula 3 motor racing champion Lando Norris tweeted.
