BMW G 310 GS – BMW with the G 310 R launched a new series access model of German range. Designed in Munich and produced in India by TVS, the BMW G 310 is a single – cylinder with 313 cc and 34 horsepower. It has a refined mechanics despite the simplicity of his scheme. The naked R will have other versions, including an Enduro street.

BMW G 310 GS, a new Enduro street

We saw the new BMW G 310 GS, the Enduro street, several times in recent weeks. The last picture of it appears on Motorrad, a German magazine. The spy photos of the BMW G 310 GS show the definitive motorcycle. It is in a test stage. So, we can expect it already at 2016 EICMA.

So, BMW G 310 R and GS are similar in the engine and chassis. The tubular frame has the same pattern of the R version. It is similar also the design of the aluminum alloy swingarm. They have an same five-spoke wheels. The front has passed from 17 to 19 inches in diameter. Inverted forks and Central rear shock have naturally increased excursion.

BMW G 310 GS, a “small” 1200 GS

Aesthetically, there is a strong appeal to the largest of the GS, the 1200 GS. In particular, we can revise the Group front fender, the fairing with its support, tank and radiator. Very similar is also the carrier, while the progress of the saddle and the muffler below are very similar to the 310 G. The new GS should be lighter. For the roadster are declared 158.5 kg with a full tank. The price will probably be higher. The G 310 R costs 5,150 euros.
