Samsung Mixed-Reality-Headset Odyssey – Last week we already read about the Samsung Windows Mixed Reality headset. Now Microsoft has confirmed the headset indirectly before the official launch date. The Redmonder group had put the base of the new headset online, although it should have been online before the event started. The mistake was noticed and undone, but thanks to a diligent crawler the site can still be viewed. So, we already know more about the cyber glasses.

It is expected that hardware partner Samsung will offer the Odyssey named set, which is the most affordable Windows Mixed Reality headset to date. According to the Microsoft homepage, the Samsung Mixed-Reality-Headset Odyssey will cost $499. The market launch date for this was already 6 November.
Samsung Mixed-Reality-Headset Odyssey, Supported Hardware
This is the right time for the first users of the Windows 10 Fall Creator update announced on October 17th. The glasses require an update and a compatible Windows PC. Microsoft lists which computers are supported on a support page, which is currently offline. The requirements for the PC depending on the applications used and can, therefore, vary. Microsoft will be presenting the new headset in San Francisco together with Samsung.
