Mercedes and Mika Häkkinen fans will have a special opportunity on 7 September. Then, a different Mercedes CL 65 AMG will be on display at the Coys auction house; the CL belonged to two-time F1 world champion Mika Häkkinen.
Mika Häkkinen and his Mercedes CL 65 AMG
The flying Finn chose the 612 hp coupé as his car for daily use when he ended his active career in 2007. The Daimler has collected 65,000 miles, which is not quite 105,000 kilometers. According to the auction house, the special model “40th Anniversary Edition” is documented and an autograph of Mika Häkkinen is included as well as a new British TÜV. So, the fact that it is a right-hand drive may be the only disadvantage of the Benz. Coys assumes a sales price of between 36,000 and 42,000 pounds (approximately 39,000 to 46,000 euros).

Lionel Andrés Messi
Another car from celebrity ownership is offered by a dealer in Eschborn. He wants 119,900 euros for the used Maserati GranTurismo MC owned by FC Barcelona star Lionel Andrés Messi. So, the two-seater with a matt black foil finish has 450 hp under the hood and only 46,000 climbs. The original white color is hidden under the foil. The car has Spanish papers and the original Messi license plates. The photos show a well-kept vehicle in good condition.
Maserati GranTurismo
The GranTurismo is a coupé from the Italian sports car manufacturer Maserati. The GranTurismo was launched in 2007. The two-door model is based on the Maserati Quattroporte and offers room for four adults. The Maserati GranTurismo is only available with gasoline engines. Two V8 with 405 or 440 hp are available. The stronger version provides sequential transmission as standard. So, the convertible version of the Maserati GranTurismo was presented at the IAA in 2009.
