The Multistrada has many fans. After the changes of last year, with the introduction of innovations like the engine with variable valve timing DVT, Cruise Control and Bluetooth integration, this year the Enduro version. The Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro.
Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro is perfect for a Trip
The engine still has 160 horsepower and earns a specific mode. With the huge aluminium bags, the Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro is perfect for a trip, perhaps in two and without posing many limitations with luggage. It’s a beautiful bike and you can ride it aggressively. A complete motorcycle with a double soul, it loves the Offroad.
Frontal “beak” is longer and offers better protection from the stones. The lateral fairings now is made of aluminium. The seat is higher, but it is more “excavated” in the motorcycle, to keep it as low as possible. You can choose it in three configurations, from 850 to 890 mm above ground. Then, we find precautions for driving off-road, as metal platforms with inserts that can be eliminated when you drive with Enduro boots. While rear brake and gearbox are adjustable.

The Testastretta 1200 DVT
The twin-cylinder Ducati is always a certainty. The Testastretta 1200 DVT. There were interventions that affect the variable valve timing. They give even more torque at low and mad the distribution substantial at medium. Do not change the data of power and torque, with 160 HP at 9,500 RPM and 136 NM at 7,500. Other interventions have been designed to allow the Multistrada can make important Fords Enduro without any problems. One last interesting news is the introduction of Vehicle Hold Control, which acts on the rear brake making Hill starts.
The Enduro Mode
Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro gains the Enduro mode. In this case, the engine goes down to 100 horses. It can also release the ABS system and disable the anti-wheeling. This Multistrada Enduro is perfect for “white” roads, where you can keep a sustained pace without much effort and with a completely different comfort from “S” version. For the tyres, we have the Pirelli Scorpion Rally.
It remains even one of the best on the road
The Multistrada Enduro has the comfortable cruise control and there is also the central stand. Confirmed the chain for the transmission, in an industry where the cardan is almost a rule (the exception is basically just the KTM). The tank is wide. But the knees remain tight as on the “S” from which it derives. This is not a trivial detail. Because it translates into a sportier drive, and according the two souls of the Enduro, which opens to off-roaders. But remains one of the best on the road. So, the bike is very stable on the “fast” roads.
Only a Bug
The only bug, if you really want to find, is that the passenger suffers on faster roads. Because the handles are dysfunctional. So, you can try to hold back, but the last solution would be to mount a top case with the backpack.
