Before the start of the MotoGP race weekend in Misano, Ducati driver Andrea Dovizioso, Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia), Danilo Petrucci (Ducati), Johann Zarco (Yamaha), Michele Pirro (Ducati test riders), Romano Fenati (Moto3) as well as the drivers from the the drivers of the VR46 teams Francesco Bagnaia Andrea Migno and Nicolò Bulega competed on jet skis.

Andrea Dovizioso teammate Jorge Lorenzo is still chasing his first victory for Ducati. The race at Silverstone revealed some positive aspects. “I’ve never been so close to the winner this season.” Jorge Lorenzo said. “Andrea won and became World Championship leader, so the atmosphere in the team is perfect. I aim to confirm this upward trend in Misano. The test here was positive and will be useful so that we have a basis for the first day of training. Misano is one of my favorite tracks. I’ve won several times in the MotoGP class here. That is why I am convinced that I can again achieve a good result. The Ducati fans will be an additional support for me. I can’t wait to drive for Ducati in Misano for the first time.“
