Ducati Diavel by Garage Italia Customs – Garage Italia Customs is famous for being an automotive customizing atelier. But Lapo Elkann and his team can create anything they want, even a motorcycle, as this unique Ducati Diavel.
A joint project between Garage Italia Customs and Italia Independent (the other company of Lapo), the special Ducati Diavel is all in blue. It has a number of exotic materials, including carbon fiber, aluminum, and Alcantara. Visually the Diavel is unique and shows us how these cruisers can be easily customized.
Ducati Diavel by Garage Italia Customs: Before there is a Scrambler
Although Lapo is the President’s brother John Elkann and Fiat Chrysler Ducati is owned by rival Volkswagen Group, this is not the first time that the team works with the Italian brand. In fact, Italy Indipendent worked on a Scrambler. Similar to the Fiat 500 Special Edition, Ducati has also made a Diesel Jeans Edition Diavel.
Ducati Diavel Diesel
The new Diavel Diesel is a collaboration between the Design Center Ducati and Andrea Rosso, Creative Director of Diesel Licenses. To build the bike, the two centers style were inspired by a retro-futuristic, post-apocalyptic imagery and a hyperkinetic dynamism. The result is a motorcycle muscled made of steel and leather, with maybe a little rough, but fascinating.
The Ducati Diavel Diesel is made on the basis of the standard Diavel and it has the Testastretta 11 engine with 162 HP. Some details were crafted as the tank cover, the windshield, and the passenger seat cover. On the seat, brown leather is repeated several times the pyramid style, representing three faces alike that identify the three Ducati Diavel and Diesel D.
The Pyramid is also on the front fender black matte. Other distinctive elements of the bike are the collar, made of Red methacrylate cover, with the Diesel brand in. The color red is present, then the Brembo front brake calipers, about five LCD dashboard, and chain link that invokes the vintage digital displays.
