Aragon GP 2016 closes in third place
Valentino Rossi closes in third place Aragon GP slowing his comeback. Rossi was sad. Because he could get a better result. ““I came down and I had to go off. Otherwise, we would both go out. It would have its charm.” smiles Rossi. “However, I wanted to avoid. Lorenzo was a bit quicker. But I had cards to play in the last round. We had different front tyres. He eventually put the harsh and could pull out of the bike better. Then, in Aragon Lorenzo drives very well. I would try an attack on the last lap. I don’t know how it would go, but I wiped out everything with the mistake under braking. I’m surprised when Lorenzo is slow, not fast.
Marquez run very well in Aragon. In some situations, Honda is more agile. Second place? It would be very important. I’d like to fight for the victory in all three races and now there are three tracks that I really like.“
Aragon GP 2016, Marquez runs to the 2016 MotoGP World Championship
Marc Marquez wins and extends his lead at the top. “I didn’t start well but then I attacked.” explains the Spanish rider. “I knew my pace was better. I wanted to stay in the head while avoiding that Rossi could follow. I kept calm after the error. I found a good rhythm and I overtook Valentino. I pushed and then I decided to keep the pace. Rossi was gaining points and now we have stopped this trend. Everything seemed under control, but the races are different.
I did a bit of a pain with the front tyre and in the beginning I pushed it a little too much. Slowly I regained feeling yesterday to do better in the second half of the race. Overtaking? It’s not just because of me. Honda goes strong in certain curves. Differences with Misano? I try to handle me. That it’s a circuit where I do a bit of a pain“.
